Descubriendo una isla misteriosa<\/b><\/h3>\n

En alg\u00fan punto intermedio entre Fran\u00e7ois de Roubaix, Serge Gainsbourg y Air, el EP debut de Commander Couche-T\u00f4t logra combina temas cinematogr\u00e1ficos, reminiscencias brasileras, suvenires de la m\u00fasica de principios de los a\u00f1os setentas para encontrar finalmente su lugar en el oxidado g\u00e9nero \u201crare french groove\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commandant Couche-T\u00f4t es el proyecto del tecladista franc\u00e9s <\/span>Anthony Malka<\/b>, radicado en Berl\u00edn. Tras 5 \u00e1lbumes y 150 conciertos junto a su tr\u00edo electro-funk \u201cThe Hoo\u201d, decidi\u00f3 profundizar en sus composiciones para piano. Los bocetos acumulados a lo largo del tiempo fueron la base de este exigente EP de 6 canciones que ofrece una odisea \u00e9pica de 17 minutos. Cada simple ilustra h\u00e1bilmente un cap\u00edtulo de la historia de Le Commandant Couche-T\u00f4t dentro de una isla misteriosa y el arriesgado encuentro con sus habitantes.<\/span><\/p>\n

En el EP, Malka colabor\u00f3 con algunos de los mayores expertos en groove de Berl\u00edn, como <\/span>Herv\u00e9 Salters<\/b>,<\/span> de General Elektriks<\/b>, quien enriqueci\u00f3 el proyecto con un memorable solo de clavinet en \u201cS.O.S\u201d, y con el guitarrista de jazz <\/span>Paul Audoynaud<\/b>, cuyos arreglos f\u00edlmicos ayudaron a trazar los contornos de esta aventura.<\/span><\/p>\n
