El 2 de abril de 2021 habr\u00eda cumplido 93 a\u00f1os. Ya no presentamos al difunto <\/span>Serge Gainsbourg <\/b>(2 de abril de 1928 – 2 de marzo de 1991) solo por su obra, que contiene muchas referencias que merecen nuestra atenci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

Influenciado por la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica desde su infancia, comenz\u00f3 a aprender a tocar el piano con su padre, Joseph, cuando a\u00fan no llegaba a los cinco a\u00f1os. No es de extra\u00f1ar entonces que encontremos prestamos del <\/span>repertorio cl\u00e1sico <\/b>en muchas de sus piezas a lo largo de su carrera, como podr\u00e1 escuchar en nuestra playlist \u201cGainsbourg’s got class(ique)\u201d, donde alternamos sus obras con sus contrapartes en la m\u00fasica cl\u00e1sica.<\/span><\/p>\n

Por ejemplo, la canci\u00f3n ganadora de Eurovisi\u00f3n en 1965, <\/span>\u201cPoup\u00e9e de wax, doll de son\u201d<\/b>, que Serge Gainsbourg compuso para <\/span>France Gall<\/b>, se inspir\u00f3 claramente en la \u201cSonata para piano n.\u00b0 1\u201d de Ludwig Van Beethoven. Y volver\u00eda a recurrir al repertorio de Beethoven para componer la canci\u00f3n <\/span>\u201cMa Lou Marilou\u201d<\/b>, donde recicl\u00f3 parte de la \u201cSonata para piano n.\u00b0 23\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

En 1968, encontramos un homenaje a Brigitte Bardot en su canci\u00f3n <\/span>\u201cInitials B.B\u201d<\/b>, donde tambi\u00e9n encontramos acordes de la \u201cNew World Symphony\u201d, alias \u201cSymphony No. 9\u201d, de Antonin Dvo\u0159\u00e1k. Chopin tambi\u00e9n estar\u00e1 involucrado en 1969, cuando parte de su obra \u201cPreludio para piano n.4 en Mi menor\u201d sirviera como base para la canci\u00f3n<\/span> \u201cJane B\u201d<\/b>, que el propio Serge firm\u00f3 para su amada <\/span>Jane Birkin<\/b>. Tambi\u00e9n se inspirar\u00eda en el \u201cEtude en F minor n.\u00b0 10\u201d para ofrecer su cover de \u201c<\/span>D\u00e9pression au-dessus du jardin<\/b>\u201d, de <\/span>Catherine Deneuve<\/b>. En 1984 no dud\u00f3 en volver a visitar el \u201cEstudio n.\u00b0 3 Op. 10\u201d de Chopin para producir <\/span>\u201cLemon Incest\u201d<\/b>, antes de abordar el \u201cAndantino para piano n.\u00b0 5\u201d de Aram Khatchaturian cuando grab\u00f3 a d\u00fao con su hija Charlotte el simple <\/span>\u201cCharlotte Forever\u201d<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Para su obra <\/span>\u201cMy Lady Hero\u00efne\u201d<\/b>, nuestro \u201chomme \u00e0 la t\u00eate de chou\u201d busc\u00f3 esta vez inspiraci\u00f3n en la obra \u201cSur un march\u00e9 persan\u201d, del artista brit\u00e1nico <\/span>Albert Ket\u00e8lbey<\/b>. Y tambi\u00e9n podemos citar su \u00e9xito <\/span>\u201cBaby alone in Babylon\u201d<\/b> como una inspiraci\u00f3n en el \u201c3er movimiento de la sinfon\u00eda n.\u00b0 3\u201d de Brahms y a su canci\u00f3n \u201cLost song\u201d como inspiraci\u00f3n en \u201cPeer Gynt, Op. 23 n.19\u201d y \u201cSong of Solveig\u201d, ambas de Edvard Grieg, que se hicieron famosas por la interpretaci\u00f3n de Jane Birkin.<\/span><\/p>\n
