Franck Hueso, mejor conocido por el nombre art\u00edstico de <\/span>Carpenter Brut,<\/b><\/a> es un artista franc\u00e9s especializado en m\u00fasica electr\u00f3nica y fundador de No Quarter Prod, su propio sello discogr\u00e1fico. Originario de Poitiers, punta de lanza de la synthwave, ha hecho del subg\u00e9nero Darksynth una marca registrada, inspir\u00e1ndose en sonidos oscuros, el metal y las bandas sonoras de pel\u00edculas de terror.<\/span><\/p>\n

Carpenter Brut comenz\u00f3 su carrera musical en 2012 con el lanzamiento de su primer trabajo, <\/span>EP I<\/i><\/b>, que r\u00e1pidamente fue seguido un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s por <\/span>EP II<\/i><\/b>. Y en 2015 lleg\u00f3 el <\/span>EP III<\/i><\/b> en 2015, tres obras que ser\u00edan reeditadas como <\/span>Trilogy<\/i><\/b> ese mismo a\u00f1o que permitir\u00edan que la prensa y el p\u00fablico comenzaran a distinguirlo r\u00e1pidamente, tanto a nivel local como internacional. Tambi\u00e9n en 2015 particip\u00f3 en la banda sonora del videojuego <\/span>\u201cHotline Miami 2: Wrong Number\u201d<\/b>, antes de dar una serie de conciertos en Francia, Europa y Am\u00e9rica del Norte (donde tambi\u00e9n ofici\u00f3 como telonero del grupo sueco Ghost). Tambi\u00e9n actu\u00f3 en numerosos festivales, como el Printemps de Bourges, el festival Terra Incognita, el SXSW, el Roadburn y el festival Motocultor. Entre 2014 y 2016, su canci\u00f3n <\/span>\u201cLe perv\u201d<\/b> fue utilizada en m\u00faltiples ocasiones para pel\u00edculas como <\/span>The Editor<\/span><\/i> (2014) de Adam Brooks y Matthew Kennedy o <\/span>Night Fare<\/span><\/i> (2015) de Julien Seri, as\u00ed como para la banda sonora del videojuego <\/span>The Crew<\/span><\/i> de Ubisoft (2014) y la campa\u00f1a publicitaria del sitio web AdopteUnMec (2015-2016).<\/span><\/p>\n

En 2017 present\u00f3 su primer \u00e1lbum en vivo, titulado <\/span>CARPENTERBRUTLIVE<\/i><\/b>, para luego grabar su primer \u00e1lbum de estudio, <\/span>Leather Teeth<\/i><\/b>, que fue lanzado en 2018 y con el que inaugurar\u00eda una nueva trilog\u00eda. Dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s compuso la banda sonora de la pel\u00edcula francesa de ciencia ficci\u00f3n <\/span>Blood Machines<\/span><\/i>, dirigida por Seth Ickerman (un seud\u00f3nimo utilizado por dos franceses: Rapha\u00ebl Hernandez y Savitri Joly-Gonfard), dise\u00f1ada como continuaci\u00f3n del clip de su canci\u00f3n <\/span>\u201cTurbo Killer\u201d<\/b>, estrenada en 2016 y que hoy suma casi 13 millones de visitas en YouTube. El pasado 31 de marzo present\u00f3 su segundo \u00e1lbum de estudio, titulado <\/span>Leather Terror<\/i><\/b>, y nos concedi\u00f3 una entrevista exclusiva en esta ocasi\u00f3n, que podr\u00e1s encontrar <\/span>aqu\u00ed<\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
