A los ocho a\u00f1os comenz\u00f3 a estudiar piano y solfeo en el Conservatorio Francis Poulenc (Par\u00eds), durante ocho a\u00f1os. Cuando alcanz\u00f3 los 16 a\u00f1os comenz\u00f3 a tocar en varias bandas de acid jazz-funk, hasta que en 1999 grab\u00f3 su primer \u00e1lbum de electr\u00f3nica a trav\u00e9s del sello Cyclo, de Inglaterra, bajo el seud\u00f3nimo School en un d\u00fao formado junto a St\u00e9phane Bejean-Lebenson. Su canci\u00f3n \u201c<\/span><b>Ain&#8217;t No Love<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d fue remixada por <\/span><b>Larry Heard<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Poco tiempo despu\u00e9s lanz\u00f3 su propio sello, Lafess\u00e9 Records desde el que comenz\u00f3 a producir sus propios \u00e1lbumes de m\u00fasica house bajo el seud\u00f3nimo de Stan de Mareuil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En 2000 comenz\u00f3 el proyecto The Superman Lovers en homenaje a una canci\u00f3n de Johnny \u201cGuitar\u201d Watson, \u201cSuperman Lover\u201d. Despu\u00e9s de estrenar su primer sencillo, \u201c<\/span><b>Marathon Man<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, Guillaume compuso la canci\u00f3n \u201c<\/span><b>Starlight<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d. La cantante Mani Hoffman se uni\u00f3 a \u00e9l para ese simple, en el que interpretaron y escribieron en conjunto la letra. El \u00e9xito de \u201cStarlight\u201d fue inmediato y le sirvi\u00f3 para firmar su primer \u00e1lbum, <\/span><b><i>The Player<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que sali\u00f3 en 2001 desde el sello BMG. \u201cStarlight\u201d ocup\u00f3 <\/span><b>el segundo lugar entre los sencillos m\u00e1s vendidos en Francia e Inglaterra<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a la vez que logr\u00f3 convertirse en un gran \u00e9xito en varios pa\u00edses, incluidos B\u00e9lgica, Australia, Alemania, Espa\u00f1a e Italia. Tiempo des\u00fa\u00e9s, en 2008, Guillaume Atlan conoci\u00f3 a Rick Bailey (del legendario grupo de funk Delegation), quien le ofreci\u00f3 producir una nueva versi\u00f3n de su \u00e9xito \u201cYou &amp; I\u201d. Para entonces el artista decidi\u00f3 comenzar un nuevo \u00e1lbum, en el que invit\u00f3 a varias celebridades del Funk de la d\u00e9cada de 1980, incluidos Rick Bailey y Norma Jean Wright, del grupo Chic. En colaboraci\u00f3n con el sello La Tebwa estren\u00f3 su tercer \u00e1lbum, <\/span><b><i>Between The Ages<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que fue lanzado en noviembre de 2011. Con su nuevo sello ficha tambi\u00e9n a muchos artistas, como Entschuldigung, Neumodel, Roommates, Fell Reis o Natty Fensie. En 2019 Atlan compuso la banda sonora de la pel\u00edcula \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Lutte des Classes<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, de Michel Leclerc, que tambi\u00e9n se estrenara en Brasil, B\u00e9lgica, Italia y la Suiza de habla alemana. El 27 de mayo, The Superman Lovers dio a conocer su nuevo \u00e1lbum, llamado <\/span><b><i>Body Double<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: un cuarto \u00e1lbum de estudio de gran diversidad musical y profunda emoci\u00f3n que garantiza grandes momentos en las pista de baile, del que ya estaba disponible un sencillo doble, titulado \u201cMy Only\/Mendoza\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Para acompa\u00f1ar a este lanzamiento, The Superman Lovers te invita a descubrir <\/span><b>su selecci\u00f3n personal <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">de canciones \u201cMade in France\u201d con una playlist exclusiva para What The France.
