Jahyanai<\/b><\/a>, cuyo verdadero nombre es Wendy Torvic, tambi\u00e9n conocido como Jahyana\u00ef King, es un cantautor y productor franc\u00e9s, originario de Guyana. Su m\u00fasica mezcla sonidos urbanos, ragga, dancehall y reggae.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nacido el 23 de septiembre de 1991 en <\/span>Guyana<\/b>, el artista creci\u00f3 en la ciudad de Macouria. Grab\u00f3 sus primeras canciones cuando ten\u00eda solo 14 a\u00f1os, por lo que r\u00e1pidamente se hizo popular entre la juventud guyanesa. En 2005, Jahyanai se uni\u00f3 al colectivo South American Soldiers Prodfta aka (Sas Prod). Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s conoci\u00f3 al artista local Gifta, con quien grab\u00f3 las canciones \u201cSix Thirty\u201d, \u201cBaddam Sadam Raddam\u201d y \u201cEnjoy Your Life\u201d. Poco despu\u00e9s, ese mismo a\u00f1o, se uni\u00f3 a su colectivo Stereo Sonic. Luego se mud\u00f3 a Francia continental, donde produjo las canciones \u201cFanm guyanaise\u201d y \u201cThank You Mama\u201d, esta \u00faltima a d\u00fao con su hermana Lionqueen. Los dos simples se difundieron en varias estaciones de radio locales de Guyana, incluida la m\u00e1s importante, NRJ Guyane.<\/span><\/p>\n

En 2008, Jahyanai lanz\u00f3 las canciones \u201cR\u00e9t\u00e9 f\u00f4\u201d y \u201cJe sais que t’en en envy\u201d, para luego entregar, un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, un webtape titulado <\/span>Solid As A Rock<\/span><\/i>, que llegar\u00eda previo a que estrene el simple \u201cPa Guin Regrets\u201d, canci\u00f3n que contar\u00eda con su primer videoclip, que fue emitido en canal Trace Urban. En 2011 actu\u00f3 en la primera edici\u00f3n del One Love Festival de Kourou, organizado y presidido por el futbolista franc\u00e9s Florent Malouda, donde comparti\u00f3 escenario con artistas internacionales como Wyclef Jean, Beres Hammond o Jah Cure. Este mismo a\u00f1o estrenar\u00eda otro videoclip, esta vez el de la canci\u00f3n \u201cNormal ki nou rude\u201d, catalogada por varios medios locales como un himno guyan\u00e9s. Ese mismo a\u00f1o lanz\u00f3 el sencillo \u201cA To Ka Bay\u201d, para el que colabor\u00f3 \u200b\u200bcon artistas como Pompis y Valiente. Aunque no fue hasta 2012 que se dar\u00eda a conocer en todo el mundo, de la mano del sencillo \u201cBubblin\u201d, que le vali\u00f3 los premios a la mejor \u201cCanci\u00f3n del A\u00f1o\u201d y el premio \u201cRevelaci\u00f3n Masculina del A\u00f1o\u201d en los Hit Lokal Awards. Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s obtuvo otros dos galardones, esta vez en las categor\u00edas \u201cCanci\u00f3n del a\u00f1o\u201d y \u201cMejor int\u00e9rprete masculino\u201d en los Premios Lindors de la Musique Guyanaise. Jahyanai, para ese entonces, ya se hab\u00eda convertido en su propio productor, aunque dentro de la organizaci\u00f3n Rude Empire. Lleg\u00f3 a aparecer en el recopilatorio Caribbean Elite, junto a artistas caribe\u00f1os como Admiral T, Kalash, Sa\u00ebl, Krys, G-Whizz o Kim Hamilton. En 2015 se decidi\u00f3 por producir a la artista femenina Bamby y a dirigir su primer videoclip a d\u00fao, \u201cReal Wifey\u201d, seguido de \u201cRun di place\u201d. Tres a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, junto a Bamby grabaron la canci\u00f3n \u201cWho mad again\u201d, que se convirti\u00f3 en la canci\u00f3n m\u00e1s buscada en el Top 100 de Shazam France, certificando como simple de oro y premiada en los Hit Lokal Awards en la categor\u00eda \u201cDancehall Collaboration of the year\u201d. Luego, Jahyanai y Bamby se unieron a Mr Eazi y a Dj Battle en la canci\u00f3n \u201cControl\u201d, para luego colaborar tambi\u00e9n con Keblack y Naza en \u201cEquilibr\u00e9\u201d. En 2021 volvi\u00f3 a aparecer con Bamby en \u201cMedusa (West Indies Remix)\u201d, de H-Magnum, junto a Gims. Durante este a\u00f1o lanz\u00f3 su primer mixtape, al que titul\u00f3 <\/span>Tsunami<\/span><\/i> y que estuvo compuesto por 13 singles, entre los que invit\u00f3 a los artistas Timal, S. Pri Noir, Meryl, Dopebwoy, T-Matt y Zepek.<\/span><\/p>\n

Su primer \u00e1lbum de estudio, <\/span>Trafic Inter<\/i><\/b>, est\u00e1 disponible desde el 11 de noviembre de 2022. En \u00e9l hay muchos artistas invitados, como sus compatriotas Ronisia, Hornet La Frappe, Jok’air o Poplane. Tambi\u00e9n encontraremos a otros artistas famosos, de talla internacional, como el jamaicano Tee Jay, el holand\u00e9s Bryan MG, el haitiano Tony Mix y el congole\u00f1o Ya Levis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Y para acompa\u00f1ar el lanzamiento de esta primera obra, Jahyanai se tom\u00f3 el tiempo de desarrollar una playlist exclusiva para What The France, en la que puede (re)descubrir canciones interpretadas por artistas como Killi, Poplane, Momo Wang, Bassty, Chinee Queen, Bamby, Gifta, Zt Elsinky, Sikem, Ken Vybz, Chani Man, Jiero, Alicia Aylies, Ya Levis, Lion P, Kalash, Meryl, Tekki Fck, Zepek, Dat-Way, My Nigga, Cocos, Craazy, Wah Waah, Stone Vybz, Goldn .B, Ma\u00efzy, Kima, Nesty Manhimselff, Bix6 B13, Dana Di Baddest y Lutin.<\/span><\/p>\n
