Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Roth a concoct\u00e9 une\u00a0playlist<\/strong>\u00a0dans laquelle elle compile plus de\u00a050 de ses morceaux pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s par des artistes Fran\u00e7ais<\/strong>. Au programme, des \u0153uvres de Bach, Debussy, Dukas, Lully, Boulez, Manoury, mais aussi quelques surprises entre Daniel Balavoine et Jacques Brel. Interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s par des artistes fran\u00e7ais, certains\u00a0morceaux de cette s\u00e9lection font honneur \u00e0 ses confr\u00e8res des Ensembles Correspondances de Sebastien Dauc\u00e9, Pygmalion de Raphael Pichon ou encore Le Concert de la Loge de Julien Chauvin. On y retrouvera aussi des solistes de renoms internationaux tels que le flutiste Emmanuel Pahud, le claveciniste Pierre Hanta\u00ef, le pianiste Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Heisser ou encore le Quatuor Ebene, sans oublier le Quintette de Cuivres de son propre Ensemble Les Si\u00e8cles.<\/p>\n

Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Roth est l\u2019un des chefs les plus charismatiques et entreprenants de sa g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Il est\u00a0Generalmusikdirektor de la ville de Cologne\u00a0depuis 2015, r\u00e9unissant la direction artistique de l\u2019Op\u00e9ra et de l\u2019orchestre du G\u00fcrzenich. Il est\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Principal Guest Conductor\u00a0\u00bb du London Symphony Orchestra,\u00a0Artiste associ\u00e9 de la Philharmonie de Paris\u00a0et est nomm\u00e9 en 2019\u00a0directeur artistique de l\u2019Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing.<\/p>\n

En 2003, il cr\u00e9e Les Si\u00e8cles, orchestre d\u2019un genre nouveau qui joue chaque r\u00e9pertoire sur les instruments historiques appropri\u00e9s.\u00a0Avec cet orchestre, il donne des concerts dans le monde entier et rejoue notamment le r\u00e9pertoire romantique fran\u00e7ais et le r\u00e9pertoire des ballets russes sur instruments d\u2019\u00e9poque. L\u2019orchestre fait ses d\u00e9buts \u00e0 la Philharmonie de Berlin en 2019 avec un programme embl\u00e9matique\u00a0(Rameau \/ Lachenmann \/ Berlioz) sur trois instrumentariums diff\u00e9rents. Victoire de la Musique en 2018 en France, Les Si\u00e8cles sont nomin\u00e9s en 2018 et 2019 par le magazine Gramophone pour recevoir le prestigieux prix d\u2019Orchestre de l\u2019Ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
