On s&rsquo;imagine des d\u00e9serts poussi\u00e9reux, de longues autoroutes, des temps difficiles et du whisky. Vous ne penseriez probablement pas \u00e0 du bon fromage, une bonne bouteille et des destinations exotiques mais c&rsquo;\u00e9tait sans compter sur le franco-canadien Theo Lawrence qui cherche \u00e0 apporter un peu de sud am\u00e9ricain \u00e0 sa France natale.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00ab\u00a0Heaven to me\u00a0\u00bb<\/h3>\n<p>Avec ses sonorit\u00e9s d&rsquo;orgue Hammond et son atmosph\u00e8re soul \u00ab\u00a0Heaven To Me\u00a0\u00bb, le morceau d&rsquo;ouverture de <em>Homemade Limonade<\/em>, premier album de Theo, donne le coup d&rsquo;envoi d&rsquo;une exp\u00e9rience plus complexe et plus sonore tout au long de l&rsquo;album, dont le point culminant est le morceau \u00e9pur\u00e9 et non moins magnifique, \u00ab\u00a0500 Dances\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Theo Lawrence &amp; The Hearts - Heaven To Me (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b8NmKWLsgss?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Dans sa chambre d&rsquo;adolescent de Gentilly, au sud du 13\u00e8me arrondissement de Paris, Theo Lawrence \u00e9coutait de tout. On retrouve d&rsquo;ailleurs dans sa musique des traces de soul, de rock et de gospel et il a toujours refus\u00e9 les \u00e9tiquettes.<\/p>\n<h2>Sauce Piquante (2019)<\/h2>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s s&rsquo;\u00eatre s\u00e9par\u00e9 de son groupe, Lawrence a travaill\u00e9 avec de nouveaux musiciens pour son album <em>Sauce Piquante<\/em>, sorti en 2019. C&rsquo;est une musique avec une certaine chaleur qui impr\u00e8gne votre corps et d\u00e9borde de c\u0153ur et d&rsquo;\u00e2me.<\/p>\n<h3><em>The Worst In Me<\/em><\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Theo Lawrence - The Worst In Me (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/39mzNiYCs-o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;album a \u00e9t\u00e9 produit en majeure partie par Mark Neil de The Black Keys dans le sud de la G\u00e9orgie aux Etats-Unis. Cependant, la plupart des textes est de Lawrence. Inspir\u00e9 par le Deep South (ou Sud profond), on compte Doug Sahm et Marty Robbins parmi les artistes qui l&rsquo;ont influenc\u00e9. I\u2019m not welcome at the table. They\u2019re not laughing at my jokes.
