Originaire de la Martinique, Mac Gregor s&rsquo;est install\u00e9e \u00e0 Abidjan en 1979 \u00e0 la recherche de ce qu&rsquo;elle appelle sa \u00ab\u00a0qu\u00eate de n\u00e9gritude\u00a0\u00bb. Jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 sa mort en avril 2004, elle a chant\u00e9 son amour pour sa ville d&rsquo;adoption. Compositrice, po\u00e8te et chanteuse visionnaire, m\u00ealant cr\u00e9ole, fran\u00e7ais et nouchi (argot local), elle a jet\u00e9 un pont musical entre les Antilles et la C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire, soutenue par un groupe de musiciens ivoiriens de premier plan.
