Anoraak<\/a><\/strong> est un projet de musique \u00e9lectronique pilot\u00e9 par le multi instrumentiste, chanteur, producteur et DJ fran\u00e7ais, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Rivi\u00e8re. C\u2019est en 2008, que cet ancien batteur du groupe Pony Pony Run Run fait paraitre son premier album sous le nom d\u2019Anoraak, \u00ab\u00a0Nightdrive With You\u00a0\u00bb, qui sera suivi des opus \u00ab\u00a0Wherever The Sun Sets \u00bb (2010) et \u00ab\u00a0Chronotropic \u00bb (2013).\u00a0Depuis ses d\u00e9buts, il aura eu l\u2019occasion de se produire en tourn\u00e9e aux Etats-Unis, au Canada, au Mexique ou au Japon, tandis que son catalogue totalise \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent plus de 30 millions de diffusions sur toutes les plateformes confondues. On retiendra aussi ses multiples collaborations avec divers artistes tels que le groupe su\u00e9dois Sally Shapiro, le chanteur am\u00e9ricain Slow Shiver ou la danoise Lydmor, ainsi que ses nombreux remixes pour le compte de Neon Indian, Satin Jackets, Julian Perretta, Luke Million, Pongo, We Are Standard, Mika, Sexy Sushi ou We Have Band.<\/p>\n

En 2020, Anoraak signait son retour avec l\u2019E.P \u00ab\u00a0Gang\u00a0\u00bb, sur lequel il \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9 de l\u2019artiste fran\u00e7aise Sarah Maison. L\u2019artiste a par la suite livr\u00e9 le single \u00ab\u00a0Between Love\u00a0\u00bb, en collaboration avec la britannique Maria Uzor, puis l’EP \u00ab\u00a0Fire Inside\u00a0\u00bb, sur lequel il est accompagn\u00e9 des am\u00e9ricains Lauren Turk et Luxxury. Toujours la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, il a sorti le single \u00ab\u00a0Transatlantic\u00a0\u00bb, suivi du titre \u00ab\u00a0Haunting Pieces\u00a0\u00bb, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du chanteur Lenparrot. Le 28 mai 2021, Anoraak\u00a0 d\u00e9voilait un nouveau single intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Karma\u00a0\u00bb, annon\u00e7ant son nouvel EP, d\u00e9j\u00e0 disponible depuis le 18 juin dernier, sur lequel on le retrouve \u00e0 nouveau en compagnie de la chanteuse Sarah Maison. La complicit\u00e9 entre les deux protagonistes est \u00e9vidente \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute des cinq titres qui constituent ce projet, qui m\u00e9lange all\u00e9grement fra\u00eecheur pop, disco, house et indie\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0On s\u2019\u00e9tait tous les deux beaucoup amus\u00e9 \u00e0 faire \u00ab\u00a0Gang\u00a0\u00bb. Chacun avait emmen\u00e9 l\u2019autre dans des territoires inexplor\u00e9s, le fran\u00e7ais et le talk over pour moi, le disco\/boogie pour Sarah. On a voulu proposer une sorte de suite. Pour l\u2019EP \u00ab\u00a0Karma\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e7a s\u2019est fait tout aussi simplement. J\u2019ai compos\u00e9 des instrumentaux, que je lui ai envoy\u00e9s et je lui ai laiss\u00e9 carte blanche sur les paroles.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Pour accompagner l\u2019\u00e9coute de son nouveau disque, Anoraak a accept\u00e9 de concevoir une playlist exclusive pour What The France. Vous pourrez y \u00e9couter des titres tri\u00e9s sur le volet de Dombrance, Voyou, Para One, L\u2019imp\u00e9ratrice, Kid Francescoli, Yuksek, Camp Claude, Juniore, Muddy Monk, French 79, Bonnie Banane, Miel de Montagne ou encore Yan Wagner.<\/p>\n
