Relier les lieux, les musiques et les personnes \u00e0 travers un film \u00e0 l\u2019espace-temps unique, telle est l\u2019ambition du programme No Cut produit par Sourdoreille et r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Sami Battikh.
\nUn plan s\u00e9quence, sans coupe ni trucage de 22 minutes pour parcourir 800 m\u00e8tres sur l’\u00cele de Nantes et y d\u00e9couvrir 5 artistes, jouant \u00e0 tour de r\u00f4le un de leur titre en live. Le tout, en une seule prise avec une seule cam\u00e9ra en plan s\u00e9quence.<\/p>\n

Lors de cette d\u00e9ambulation musicale, on flotte, on roule et on marche aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Lilly Wood & the Prick<\/a>, Ichon<\/a>, Jeanne Cherhal<\/a>, Thylacine<\/a> et Ko Ko Mo<\/a>. Entre pop, crooning rap, chanson, electronica et heavy rock…<\/p>\n

Rail, Steadicam, grue t\u00e9lescopique, voiture travelling… l\u2019unique cam\u00e9ra de ce plan s\u00e9quence aura connu plusieurs vies en quelques minutes pour offrir une d\u00e9ambulation adapt\u00e9e au parcours et permettant des trajectoires et un large \u00e9ventail de prises de vues : de la cale de lancement aux Nefs de St\u00e9r\u00e9olux en passant par le Carrousel des Mondes Marins.<\/p>\n

Ce d\u00e9fi artistique et technique fut \u00e9galement un challenge musical pour les artistes ayant accept\u00e9 de participer au projet. En effet, bien plus qu\u2019un encha\u00eenement de cinq chansons aux univers tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents, les artistes ont travaill\u00e9 pour offrir une r\u00e9elle unit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble du programme : la saxophoniste de Lilly Wood a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un solo freejazz pour accompagner l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du titre d\u2019Ichon, qui a lui travaill\u00e9 sur un edit de son titre pour coller aux diff\u00e9rents moments de la d\u00e9ambulation. Jeanne Cherhal a quant \u00e0 elle compos\u00e9 une intro qui se m\u00e9lange parfaitement \u00e0 la fin du titre d\u2019Ichon…<\/p>\n

Ces d\u00e9fis artistiques et techniques ont permis de cr\u00e9er, l\u2019espace de 22 minutes, une \u0153uvre unique et collaborative. Une \u0153uvre aussi bien audiovisuelle que musicale.<\/p>\n
