L\u2019histoire de NTO<\/a><\/strong> commence apre\u0300s une vire\u0301e au Sziget Festival a\u0300 18 ans, il fre\u0301quente assidu\u0302ment La Villa Rouge et le Bar Live, deux clubs mythiques de Montpellier. La techno minimale allemande est en plein essor et Anthony Favier passe ses nuits a\u0300 e\u0301couter Stephan Bodzin, James Holden ou les de\u0301buts de Paul Kalkbrenner. <\/span><\/p>\n

NTO passe des nuits entie\u0300res, laptop sur les genoux, les yeux brillants, a\u0300 tenter de reproduire les sons entendus la veille sur la piste, comme lorsqu\u2019il tentait plus jeune de reproduire le solo de \u00abHotel California\u00bb ou les accords psyche\u0301de\u0301liques de Syd Barrett.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

E\u0301pique et minimale, spontane\u0301e et ge\u0301ne\u0301reuse, la musique de NTO est aussi libre. Libre d\u2019expe\u0301rimenter, de chercher l\u2019arythmie, la dissonance, \u00abce petit twist tranceux\u00bb qui ouvre les portes d\u2019une nouvelle dimension. Ou de croiser le large spectre de ses influences : du rock des anne\u0301es 70 au swing, en passant par la soul, le classique ou le hip hop.<\/p>\n

La rencontre c\u2019est aussi celle avec Worakls et Joachim Pastor<\/strong> avec lesquels il va fonder Hungry Music en 2013. Alors que la techno me\u0301lodique n\u2019inte\u0301resse plus les me\u0301dias ou les programmateurs, les trois garc\u0327ons sont convaincus que le public n\u2019en a pas eu assez. Gra\u0302ce a\u0300 ses tubes \u00abTrauma\u00bb et \u00abLa cle\u0301 des champs\u00bb, qui cumulent plusieurs millions d\u2019e\u0301coutes sur les plateformes, la carrie\u0300re de NTO prend son envol a\u0300 l\u2019international que ce soit aux Pays-Bas, en Allemagne, dans l\u2019est de l\u2019Europe ou au Canada… Dour, DGTL, Osheaga ou encore Igloofest : NTO parcourt les festivals chaque anne\u0301e pour jouer ses propres morceaux en live.<\/p>\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, NTO entame un nouveau chapitre de sa carrie\u0300re avec son album Apnea.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Il a envie de laisser parler ses instincts comme s\u2019il e\u0301tait habite\u0301 par \u00abquelque chose qu\u2019on ne contro\u0302le pas\u00bb. Avec la Me\u0301diterrane\u0301e comme horizon intime, il explore son co\u0302te\u0301 deep. Basses profondes et harmonies lysergiques, il filtre ses me\u0301lodies pour mieux les faire jaillir, e\u0301clatantes, comme on sortirait de l\u2019eau apre\u0300s avoir touche\u0301 le fond. \u00abIl y a une dimension un peu inexplicable dans la vie.
