Ce nouvel opus est dans la veine du blues folk qui les a rendus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre en 2017 et que les fans ont entendu pour la premi\u00e8re fois sur leur premier disque,<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><i>Traveling Soul<\/i><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Les influences de<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Gunnar Ellwanger<\/strong><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>se m\u00ealent \u00e0 une partie de son histoire : n\u00e9 en Angleterre, \u00e9lev\u00e9 en Allemagne et install\u00e9 en France depuis son adolescence, cet artiste marie la musique folk am\u00e9ricaine avec la country et la musique irlandaise. Toujours accompagn\u00e9e de<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>David Jerry Lacombe<\/strong><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(batterie) et de<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Jeff Petro<\/strong><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>(basse et ch\u0153urs), la musique de<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Gunwood<\/strong><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>m\u00eale l&rsquo;esprit du Mississippi, l&rsquo;agressivit\u00e9 de groupes \u00e9tablis comme<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Rage Against The Machine<\/strong><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>et l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritage musical de l&rsquo;Irlande.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Gunwood - Dream Boat Jane (Official Music Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PVLde0MsL7c?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Le titre \u00e9ponyme de l&rsquo;album, se distingue \u00e9galement par son clip quelque peu psych\u00e9d\u00e9lique, clairement inspir\u00e9 du th\u00e9 du Chapelier fou d&rsquo;Alice au pays des merveilles, dans le but de souligner la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 absurde qui nous entoure et le d\u00e9sir partag\u00e9 de s&rsquo;en \u00e9chapper constamment.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em><b>Dream Boat Jane<\/b><\/em><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>est mon propre bateau de sauvetage, qui est venu nous rassurer apr\u00e8s un long moment d&rsquo;\u00e9chouage. Conceptuellement, c&rsquo;est cet album qui nous a permis de rester unis en tant que groupe pendant la pand\u00e9mie de Covid\u00a0\u00bb, explique Ellwanger. \u00ab\u00a0Toutes les chansons de<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Dream Boat Jane<\/em><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>ont vu le jour pendant l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e et demie o\u00f9 nous \u00e9tions en d\u00e9tention.
