A l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de huit ans, il entame des \u00e9tudes de solf\u00e8ge et de piano, au conservatoire Francis Poulenc (Paris), qui vont durer huit ans. C\u2019est autour de ses 16 ans, qu\u2019il commence \u00e0 jouer dans plusieurs formations d&rsquo;acid jazz-funk. En l\u2019an 1999, il enregistre son premier disque de musique \u00e9lectronique sur le label Cyclo en Angleterre, sous le nom d\u2019emprunt de School, un duo qu&rsquo;il monte avec St\u00e9phane Bejean-Lebenson. Son titre\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1.6rem;\">\u00ab\u00a0Ain\u2019t no Love\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> <span style=\"font-size: 1.6rem;\">sera remix\u00e9 par <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 1.6rem;\">Larry Heard<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1.6rem;\">. Il lance ensuite son propre label, baptis\u00e9 Lafess\u00e9 Records, et commence \u00e0 produire des disques de <\/span><i style=\"font-size: 1.6rem;\">house music<\/i><span style=\"font-size: 1.6rem;\"> sous le pseudonyme de Stan de Mareuil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>En 2000, il commence le projet The Supermen Lovers en hommage au titre d\u2019un morceau de Johnny \u00ab\u00a0Guitar\u00a0\u00bb Watson, \u00a0\u00bb Superman Lover\u00a0\u00bb. Apr\u00e8s un premier single, <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Marathon Man\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/strong>, Guillaume compose le titre <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Starlight\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>. Le chanteur Mani Hoffman le rejoint sur ce titre, sur lequel il interpr\u00e8te et co\u00e9crit les textes. Le succ\u00e8s du morceau \u00ab\u00a0Starlight\u00a0\u00bb est imm\u00e9diat et il signe son premier album, <strong><em>The Player<\/em><\/strong>, sur le label BMG en 2001. \u00ab\u00a0Starlight\u00a0\u00bb se classe N\u00b0<strong>2 des meilleures ventes de single en France et en Angleterre<\/strong>, tout en remportant un large succ\u00e8s dans plusieurs autres pays, notamment en Belgique, en Australie, en Allemagne, en Espagne et en Italie. Le clip r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par David Nicolas Honor\u00e9 de Barzolff est r\u00e9compens\u00e9 au Festival du Film d&rsquo;animation d&rsquo;Annecy et cumule actuellement pr\u00e8s de <strong>38 millions de vues sur YouTube.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Supermen Lovers (feat. Mani Hoffman) \u00b7 Starlight (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/h61QG4s0I3U?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;E.P, sortis entre 2001 et 2004, l&rsquo;album <em><strong>Boys in the Wood<\/strong><\/em> voit le jour \u00e0 la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2004. En 2008, Guillaume Atlan rencontre Rick Bailey du groupe de funk l\u00e9gendaire Delegation, qui lui propose de produire une nouvelle version de son succ\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0You &amp; I\u00a0\u00bb. L\u2019artiste d\u00e9cide alors de commencer un nouvel album, sur lequel il invite plusieurs c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9s de la Funk des ann\u00e9es 1980, dont Rick Bailey et Norma Jean Wright du groupe Chic. En collaboration avec le label La Tebwa, son troisi\u00e8me album <em><strong>Between The Ages<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0para\u00eet en novembre 2011. Deux ans plus tard, Guillaume d\u00e9cide de cr\u00e9er un nouveau label, baptis\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Word Up Records\u00a0\u00bb, en hommage \u00e0 un morceau de Cameo, sur lequel il sort successivement les E.P <em><strong>Absolute Disco<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2016), <em><strong>Walking on the moon<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2017) et <em><strong>Clock Sucker<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2018), \u00a0qui font office de pr\u00e9lude \u00e0 son nouvel opus, intitul\u00e9 <em><strong>Alterations<\/strong><\/em>. Sur son nouveau label, il signe \u00e9galement de nombreux artistes comme Entschuldigung, Neumodel, Roommates, Fell Reis ou Natty Fensie. En 2019, Guillaume Atlan compose la bande originale du film \u00ab\u00a0La Lutte des classes\u00a0\u00bb de Michel Leclerc, qui sera \u00e9galement distribu\u00e9 au Br\u00e9sil, en Belgique, en Italie et en Suisse al\u00e9manique. Le 27 mai dernier, The Supermen Lovers d\u00e9voilait son nouvel album, baptis\u00e9 <em><strong>Body Double<\/strong><\/em>.
