Jahyanai<\/a><\/strong>, de son vrai nom Wendy Torvic, \u00e9galement connu sous le nom de Jahyana\u00ef King,<\/strong> est un auteur-compositeur-interpr\u00e8te et producteur fran\u00e7ais, originaire de Guyane. Sa musique m\u00e9lange sonorit\u00e9s urbaines, ragga, dancehall et reggae<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

N\u00e9 le 23 septembre 1991 en Guyane<\/strong>, l\u2019artiste grandit dans la commune de Macouria. Il enregistre ses premi\u00e8res chansons alors qu\u2019il n\u2019a que 14 ans, devenant rapidement populaire aupr\u00e8s de la jeunesse guyanaise. D\u00e8s 2005, Jahyanai int\u00e8gre le collectif South American Soldiers Prodfta a (Sas Prod). L\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante, il fait la rencontre de l\u2019artiste local Gifta avec lequel il enregistre les morceaux \u00ab\u00a0Six Thirty\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Baddam Sadam Raddam\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0Enjoy Your Life\u00a0\u00bb et rejoint son collectif Stereo Sonic. Il part ensuite s\u2019installer en France m\u00e9tropolitaine, o\u00f9 il produit les chansons \u00ab\u00a0Fanm guyanaise\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Thank You Mama\u00a0\u00bb en duo avec sa s\u0153ur Lionqueen, ces deux titres seront diffus\u00e9es sur plusieurs radios locales guyanaises dont NRJ Guyane.<\/p>\n

En 2008, Jahyanai fait paraitre les titres \u00ab R\u00e9t\u00e9 f\u00f4 \u00bb et \u00ab Je sais que t’en a envie \u00bb, puis livre, un an plus tard, sa webtape Solid As A Rock<\/em>, avant de sortir la chanson \u00ab Pa Guin Regrets \u00bb, qui deviendra son premier clip \u00e0 \u00eatre diffus\u00e9 en t\u00e9l\u00e9vision sur la chaine Trace Urban. En 2011, il se produit lors de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition du One Love Festival \u00e0 Kourou, organis\u00e9e et pr\u00e9sid\u00e9e par le footballeur fran\u00e7ais Florent Malouda, o\u00f9 il partage la sc\u00e8ne avec des artistes internationaux tels que Wyclef Jean, Beres Hammond ou Jah Cure. Cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, il fait la promotion du clip de son morceau \u00ab Normal ki nou rude \u00bb qui sera qualifi\u00e9 par divers m\u00e9dia locaux d\u2019hymne guyanais. En parall\u00e8le, il sort le single \u00ab A To Ka Bay \u00bb sur lequel il collabore avec Pompis et Valiente. Il se fait conna\u00eetre du grand public en 2012,\u00a0 avec le single \u00ab\u00a0Bubblin\u00a0\u00bb qui lui vaut de recevoir les prix \u00ab\u00a0Chanson de l’ann\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0R\u00e9v\u00e9lation masculine de l’ann\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb aux Hit Lokal Awards. Un an plus tard, il est r\u00e9compens\u00e9 dans la cat\u00e9gorie \u00ab\u00a0Chanson de l’ann\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Meilleur interpr\u00e8te masculin\u00a0\u00bb aux Lindors de la musique guyanaise. Jahyanai devient par la suite son propre producteur avec sa structure Rude Empire et apparait notamment sur la compilation Caribbean Elite<\/em>, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s d’artistes caribb\u00e9ens tels qu\u2019Admiral T, Kalash, Sa\u00ebl, Krys, G-Whizz ou Kim Hamilton. En 2015, il d\u00e9cide de produire l\u2019artiste f\u00e9minine Bamby et de r\u00e9aliser leur premier clip en duo, \u00ab\u00a0Real Wifey\u00a0\u00bb, suivi de \u00ab\u00a0Run di place\u00a0\u00bb. Trois ans plus tard, leur nouveau duo, \u00ab\u00a0Who mad again\u00a0\u00bb, devient la chanson la plus recherch\u00e9e du Top 100 Shazam France, avant d\u2019\u00eatre certifi\u00e9e Single d’Or et r\u00e9compens\u00e9e aux Hit Lokal Awards dans la cat\u00e9gorie \u00ab\u00a0Collaboration dancehall de l’ann\u00e9e \u00bb. Jahyanai et Bamby s’associent ensuite avec Mr Eazi et Dj Battle sur la chanson \u00ab\u00a0Control\u00a0\u00bb et collaborent aussi avec Keblack et Naza sur \u00ab\u00a0Equilibr\u00e9 \u00bb. En 2021, il apparait de nouveau avec Bamby sur le morceau \u00ab Medusa (West Indies Remix)\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0de H-Magnum aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Gims et livre sa premi\u00e8re mixtape Tsunami<\/em>, compos\u00e9e de 13 morceaux, sur laquelle il invite les artistes Timal, S.Pri Noir, Meryl, Dopebwoy, T-Matt et Z\u00e9pek.<\/p>\n

Son premier album studio, baptis\u00e9 Trafic Inter<\/em>,<\/strong> est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent disponible depuis le 11 novembre 2022. On y retrouve de nombreux invit\u00e9s tels que ses compatriotes Ronisia, Hornet La Frappe, Jok\u2019air ou Poplane, mais aussi de c\u00e9l\u00e8bres artistes internationaux comme le jama\u00efcain Tee Jay, le n\u00e9erlandais Bryan MG, l\u2019ha\u00eftien Tony Mix et le congolais Ya Levis.<\/p>\n
