Sous forme de <a href=\"https:\/\/whatthefrance.org\/fr\/news\/?s=live%20shot\">questions-r\u00e9ponses<\/a>, les artistes interview\u00e9s ont d\u00fb raconter une anecdote v\u00e9cue lors d\u2019un concert, puis partager leur rituel avant et apr\u00e8s sc\u00e8ne. Les artistes s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s se sont pr\u00eat\u00e9s au jeu et What the France les remercie pour leurs histoires et pour nous avoir ouvert les portes de leurs styles musicaux respectifs. On d\u00e9marre cette nouvelle saison avec<strong> l&rsquo;artiste <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/yoamusique\/\">Yoa<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Son style qu\u2019elle qualifie de \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KU5X4dBAqbE\">bedroom pop\u00a0\u00bb<\/a>\u00a0est une invitation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9coute de chansons planantes aux paroles fortes. Sur sc\u00e8ne, sa musique se m\u00e9lange \u00e0 ses jeux de danses hypnotiques. What the France est parti \u00e0 sa rencontre \u00e0 l\u2019occasion du Festival du Chantier des Francofolies de La Rochelle. Elle grandit entre les DVDs de son p\u00e8re, producteur de films, et les instruments de musique. A l\u2019origine, son r\u00eave \u00e9tait de devenir actrice, elle le deviendra finalement, mais ce sera dans le cadre du monde de la musique quelques ann\u00e9es plus tard. D\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e2ge de 7 ans, elle apprend le piano avant m\u00eame de poser sa voix par-dessus.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Quelques ann\u00e9es plus tard, l&rsquo;attrait pour la musique se d\u00e9veloppe et l\u2019amour pour les m\u00e9lodies cro\u00eet. C\u2019est le d\u00e9but d\u2019une belle histoire d\u2019amour entre Yoa et le Septi\u00e8me Art. S\u2019inspirant autant de <strong>Billie Eilish<\/strong> que de <strong>FKA Twigs<\/strong>, elle passe son temps dans sa chambre pour \u00e9crire, composer et enregistrer ses premiers morceaux. Les ann\u00e9es passent, elle aiguise sa voix suave et fragile, ses textes gagnent en po\u00e9sie et ses productions s\u2019orientent de plus en plus vers l\u2019\u00e9lectro. Son style s\u2019affine jusqu\u2019\u00e0 des sonorit\u00e9s qui r\u00e9jouissent les oreilles de ses auditeurs. Les chansons deviennent calmes, douces, r\u00e9jouissantes, rassurantes et parfois tristes.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> D\u00e9but 2021, elle sort ses deux premiers singles qui lui vaudront d\u2019\u00eatre invit\u00e9e sur des radios fran\u00e7aises o\u00f9 elle se fera remarquer par l\u2019artiste Pomme. Quelques mois passent et c\u2019est \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2021 qu\u2019elle officialise d\u00e9finitivement son univers juv\u00e9nile, d\u00e9complex\u00e9 et explosif avec son premier maxi de 5 titres, baptis\u00e9 <em><strong>Attente<\/strong><\/em>. Ce sera le cas avec Magenta Club sur le single \u00e9lectro \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/CISBc0FFjuw\">Un Peu d\u2019Amour\u00a0\u00bb<\/a>, o\u00f9 l&rsquo;artiste Yoa viendra poser quelques phrases sur ce morceau ambianc\u00e9 de cinq minutes trente. Quelques morceaux plus tard, en novembre 2022, elle collaborera avec Tomasi sur le titre \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/4TK9azuC-J4\"><strong>yt boy\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/a>, extrait de son dernier maxi en date, baptis\u00e9 <em><strong>Chanson triste<\/strong><\/em>.
