Pour l\u2019occasion du festival, l\u2019artiste s\u2019est entour\u00e9 de son <strong>vieux pote de console<\/strong> et de son <strong>beatmaker<\/strong>. What the France est parti \u00e0 la rencontre du projet <strong>rap<\/strong> \u201c<strong>sucr\u00e9<\/strong>\u201d de nelick pour r\u00e9aliser une <a href=\"https:\/\/whatthefrance.org\/fr\/news\/?s=live%20shot\">interview<\/a> et poser quelques questions autour de son exp\u00e9rience de la sc\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00eat pour un \u201cLive Shot\u201d avec nelick ?<\/p>\n<p><script>document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() {(tarteaucitron.job = tarteaucitron.job || []).push('youtube');});<\/script><\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube_player\" videoID=\"5jJhGpMa3Qk\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" style=\"height:50vw\" theme=\"light\" rel=\"0\" controls=\"1\" showinfo=\"1\" autoplay=\"0\"><\/div>\n<h2>Qui est nelick ?<\/h2>\n<p>D\u2019apr\u00e8s nelick, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 25 ans, il est \u201cjuste un rappeur de plus\u201d. Pourtant, son rap qu\u2019il manie avec dext\u00e9rit\u00e9 est le fruit de plusieurs genres musicaux, et on ne parle pas ici seulement de son phras\u00e9. Passionn\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00e9criture d\u00e8s son plus jeune \u00e2ge, c\u2019est au coll\u00e8ge qu\u2019il <strong>transpose ses textes sur du rap<\/strong> sans pour autant y rentrer enti\u00e8rement. D\u2019abord un pas, puis enfin, l\u2019autre. Ce d\u00e9clic occupera la majeure partie de sa vie d\u2019\u00e9tudiant puisqu\u2019il ne manquera presque aucun \u201c<strong>16 du mois<\/strong>\u201d, un concours se d\u00e9roulant sur Facebook qui sert de tremplin \u00e0 divers chanteurs. L\u2019\u00e9preuve se d\u00e9roule sur cinq jours o\u00f9 les artistes disposent de 16 mesures d\u2019instrumental et un th\u00e8me pr\u00e9cis \u00e0 exploiter, le r\u00e9sultat est ensuite partag\u00e9 sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux. Sans surprise, il finira par \u00eatre \u00e9lu \u201c<strong>Grand gagnant de la semaine<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2>Les collaboration de nelick<\/h2>\n<p>Au fur et \u00e0 mesure (sans mauvais jeu de mot), nelick fait son trou dans le monde du rap. Il rencontre notamment un beatmaker qui r\u00e9alise aussi des productions pour <strong>Lord Esperanza<\/strong>. Avec ce dernier, nelick forme le duo <strong>Pala$$<\/strong> qui signe un premier E.P en 2017, baptis\u00e9 <em>Acid Rose Garden<\/em>. A c\u00f4t\u00e9 de \u00e7a, l\u2019artiste continue de travailler sur ses projets personnels en sortant des <strong>singles<\/strong> et en assurant des <strong>premi\u00e8res parties de concerts pour Columbine<\/strong>, tout en travaillant sur son futur album de 2018 qui prendra le nom de son prochain alter-ego : <strong>KiwiBunny<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sur ce premier opus, intitul\u00e9 <em>KiwiBunny Tape<\/em><em>,<\/em> il d\u00e9veloppe un rap m\u00e2tin\u00e9 de<strong> pop color\u00e9e<\/strong> avec des <strong>instrumentations vaporeuses<\/strong> et presque enfantines.\u00a0On y d\u00e9couvre d\u2019autres musiciens comme <strong>Le Sid<\/strong> ou <strong>Andy Luidje<\/strong>, qui viennent poser quelques paroles sur les morceaux, mais on y entend surtout des <strong>histoires sinc\u00e8res<\/strong> de d\u00e9ception, un peu m\u00e9lancoliques.<\/p>\n<p><script>document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() {(tarteaucitron.job = tarteaucitron.job || []).push('youtube');});<\/script><\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube_player\" videoID=\"87-p5mhMT68\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" style=\"height:50vw\" theme=\"light\" rel=\"0\" controls=\"1\" showinfo=\"1\" autoplay=\"0\"><\/div>\n<h2>Suppl\u00e9ment Chantilly<\/h2>\n<p>Cet univers doux, nelick continue de le cultiver dans ses albums suivants, comme dans <em>Vanille Fraise<\/em> o\u00f9 il s\u2019entoure de nouveaux collaborateurs ou encore dans sa version augment\u00e9e <em>Suppl\u00e9ment Chantilly<\/em><em>, <\/em>sortie en janvier 2023.
