Sp\u00e9cialiste du r\u00e9pertoire classique fran\u00e7ais, il conduit et balaie diff\u00e9rentes p\u00e9riodes allant du <strong>mouvement baroque jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Debussy<\/strong>, sans oublier <strong>le Grand Motet<\/strong>.\u00a0Son solide amour du style sacr\u00e9 de ce dernier, tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t d\u00e9fendu avec ferveur par Herv\u00e9 Niquet, <strong>entre cantates allemandes et anthems anglais du XVIIe si\u00e8cle<\/strong>, l\u2019a pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er en 1987 son propre <strong>ensemble baptis\u00e9 Le Concert Spirituel<\/strong>. Avec plus de cent-vingt disques sortis en 35 ans d\u2019existence, il s\u2019est impos\u00e9 comme un d\u00e9fenseur majeur du patrimoine musical d\u2019antan qui sait tout autant diriger des \u0153uvres connues que des partitions originales.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, notre chef d\u2019orchestre fait \u00e9galement voyager \u00e0 travers le monde entier les grands motets, op\u00e9ras, ballets et musiques \u00e9trang\u00e8res. Qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de l\u2019<strong>Orchestre de Chambre de Paris<\/strong>, du <strong>M\u00fcnchner Rundfunkorchester<\/strong> de Munich ou de l\u2019<strong>Orchestre de Kanazawa<\/strong> du Japon avec lesquels il travaille, Herv\u00e9 Niquet transmet sa passion \u00e0 travers sa baguette.\u00a0Pionnier dans la d\u00e9couverte de certaines \u0153uvres, son esprit d\u2019explorateur l&rsquo;a amen\u00e9 \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation du <a href=\"https:\/\/bru-zane.com\/fr\/\"><strong>Palazzetto Bru Zane<\/strong><\/a>, centre de musique romantique fran\u00e7aise \u00e0 Venise en <strong>2009<\/strong>, avec lequel il m\u00e8ne \u00e0 bien de nombreux projets. Sous sa direction, de nombreuses red\u00e9couvertes marquantes ont vu le jour : <em>Herculanum<\/em> de F\u00e9licien David, <em>Dimitri<\/em> de Victorin Jonci\u00e8res, <em>La l\u00e9gende des ours<\/em> de Marie Ja\u00ebll ou <em>La Reine de Chypre<\/em> de Fromental Hal\u00e9vy.<\/p>\n<h2>Des r\u00e9compenses<\/h2>\n<p>Herv\u00e9 Niquet s\u2019est \u00e9galement vu attribuer des prix tels que le<strong> Diapason d\u2019Or<\/strong>, notamment pour son travail de mise en valeur de l\u2019\u0153uvre <em>Ariane et Bacchus<\/em> de Marin Marais (1656-1728) ou encore pour l\u2019enregistrement de <em>L\u2019\u00eele du R\u00eave<\/em> de Reynaldo Hahn r\u00e9compens\u00e9 par le prix <strong>Choc Classica 2021<\/strong>. Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9 lors des <strong>International Classical Music Awards<\/strong> o\u00f9 il a re\u00e7u le prix \u00ab\u00a0Recording of the Year\u00a0\u00bb en 2018 et lors des <strong>International Opera Awards<\/strong> la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, dans la cat\u00e9gorie \u00ab\u00a0Meilleur enregistrement \u2013 Solo r\u00e9cital\u00a0\u00bb.
