Boulevard des Airs | Mamie

‘Mamie’ by Boulevard des Airs reflects the fleeting nature of life and the bonds we make with our family and those close to us. Released in 2019 as part of the album Je me dis que toi aussi, ‘Mamie’ is an emotional song that pays special attention to the influence and connection one has with their grandmother and chronicles the loss felt she is gone.

About

Boulevards des Airs, known as BDA, is a French pop-rock group formed in 2004 under the leadership of Florent Dasque et Sylvain Duthu and composed of seven musicians. Originally from Tarbes, in the south-west of France, the group released their first album 'Paris-Buenos Aires' in 2011. It was in 2015, with the release of 'Brussels', that success arrived. Ranked in the top ten bestsellers in France upon its release, the album was subsequently certified gold and then platinum. "Loin des yeux" is the band's fifth album, a hybrid album of 24 songs that includes twelve unreleased tracks and twelve duets revisiting their repertoire.
