Vianney | Dabali

In “Dabali,” Vianney pays tribute to the Afar tribe. It was during a trip to northeastern Ethiopia in Africa that Vianney was profoundly impacted by his encounter with this people.

Vianney Bureau, known as Vianney, was born in 1993 and is a French singer, songwriter, and performer. He discovered a passion for French chanson at the age of 12, listening to his father play guitar and perform classics by Georges Brassens or Maxime Le Forestier. It was at this age that he began writing songs. In 2005, his father introduced him to musician friends with whom he recorded his first album. In 2014, he released his debut album, "Idées blanches." In 2015, he was nominated for the Victoires de la Musique awards in the "Revelations" category, and the following year, he won the award for Best Male Artist. His second album, "Vianney," was released in 2016, followed by "N’attendons pas" in 2020, and "À 2 à 3" in 2023, an album composed entirely of duets and trios. Vianney won the title of Male Artist of the Year at the 2024 Victoires de la Musique awards.
