Eugénie | New EP exclusive and playlist for What The France!
Eugénie is far from a novice when it comes to music. In 2017, she signed a contract with Universal France and started playing support slots with artists like Vianney, Marina Kaye and FEDER thanks to her song ‘Puis Danse‘. Now she’s back with a three-track EP featuring songs ‘Blue’, ‘Princess’ and ‘Silence’.
After three years of silence, the French singer has come alive on social media, attracting attention with her ‘1minute2génie’ concept (in which she creates a topline for beats submitted by producers) as well as English-language covers of French tracks that have been praised by the original recording artists (like Lous & The Yakuzas, GIMS and Yseult).
Thanks to the fruitful clash between her love of mainstream pop and alternative inspirations, the singer-songwriter presents a complex persona that finds a balance between the various aspects of her personality, from the studious, calm student to the strong, uninhibited woman.
Eugénie is set to play the postponed What The France night in London with Terrenoire and November Ultra on 28th April 2022, and she has compiled an exclusive playlist of her favourite ‘Made in France’ music.
