Kartell: Crafting Grooves from Paris to the World
Originally from Tours, France, Kartell has made a name for himself in the electronic music scene. His journey took a pivotal turn in 2012 after moving to Paris, where he met Cezaire, who introduced him to the capital’s vibrant club scene. Kartell’s debut EP Riviera became the first release on Cezaire’s Roche Musique label, positioning him as a key figure in the resurgence of house and disco during that era. With his talent for producing smooth, groovy tracks, he quickly gained attention.
Landing a residency at the iconic Social Club in Paris, Kartell soon expanded his reach internationally, with DJ sets from California to South Korea.
Evolving Sound
In 2021, Kartell released the Daybreak EP, a project that marked the beginning of a new sonic chapter. With a more expansive and atmospheric sound, the EP featured collaborations with artists like SG Lewis, Qendresa, and Che Lingo. Describing Daybreak as the foundation of his evolving sound, Kartell used this momentum to dive into his debut album.
On May 31, 2024, he unveiled Everything is Here, the result of this creative journey, filled with fresh energy and artistic exploration.
