Louane | The French candidate for Eurovision 2025!

The sixty-ninth edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will take place in Basel (Switzerland), the two semi-finals will be held on May 13 and 15, while the final will take place on May 17. On this occasion, France will be represented by the artist Louane, who announced the news on her own Instagram account on last Thursday, January 30.

Louane became known in 2013, when she participated in the casting of “The Voice, la plus belle voix”. With her single “Avenir”, she reached third place in the German singles chart in 2014, as well as first place in the French chart. Her first two albums, Chambre 12 (2015) and Louane (2017) also reached first place in the best-selling albums chart in France and were both certified Diamond Disc. In 2016, she won the prize in the category “Revelation Album of the Year” at the Victoires de la Musique for her first opus. Her third album, released in 2020 and simply titled Louane, is now certified Platinum. In October 2024, she unveiled her new album, Solo. Louane has sold more than three million albums to date. In addition to her singing career, the artist is also active as an actress. For her role in “La Famille Bélier”, she received a César award in the category “Most promising female artist” in 2015.
