Printemps de Bourges / Two exhibitions and an exclusive playlist for the festival’s 50th anniversary!

To mark its 50th edition, taking place from April 14 to 19, 2026, the Printemps de Bourges Crédit Mutuel celebrates 50 live music events and just as many artistic revolutions and cultural struggles. Above all, it celebrates 50 editions of shared joy with artists and festival-goers! This love story unfolds through two exhibitions (Printemps Mon Amour! & Festivals Mon Amour!) and an exceptional creation at the Palais d’Auron on Saturday, closing the festival.

Since 1977, the Printemps de Bourges Crédit Mutuel has held a unique place in the French cultural landscape as the festival where it all began, always with a resolutely alternative spirit. The Printemps Mon Amour! exhibition recounts this extraordinary journey by inviting visitors to explore the photographic memories of those who bring the festival to life: artists, audiences, and the city of Bourges. A three-dimensional journey to better understand the festival’s history as a shared destiny.

Throughout this photographic journey, original archives, perspectives and insights from the event’s partners (CNM, INA, France Inter, France Télévisions and Inrockuptibles), as well as the writing of Bertrand Dicale, offer a deeper understanding of the Printemps spirit.
