Charlotte Gainsbourg | On tour in the US in April
Acclaimed French songwriter and actress Charlotte Gainsbourg will be touring the United States in April in support of her latest releases.
The singer will stop by Boston, Washington, and New York before heading to Coachella.
Rest
Produced by French electronic producer and Ed Banger associate SebastiAn, her latest album Rest was released in November 2017. The album features a roster of guest stars, such as Paul McCartney, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (Daft Punk), Canadian composer and violinist Owen Pallett, and psych-pop talent Connan Mockasin.
Besides being named ‘Best New Music’ by Pitchfork, it was described as ‘gorgeous and assured’ by NPR, while The New York Times noted that ‘Rest is an album that comes directly from her heart’.
Take 2
Following Rest, Take 2 is her latest EP, which was released in December 2018. The 5-track project includes three new songs and two live recordings, including a cover of Kanye West’s ‘Runaway’.
