In this new episode of our “Live Shot” series, meet Elena Copsi. What the France interviewed her during her performance at the BISE festival.

An artist in search of freedom both on stage and on her motorcycle, she draws inspiration from chanson, rap, and folk music to create her own unique style.

After a busy start to her career, she talks to us about the turning point in her career and the importance she now places on independence and not compromising. One thing hasn’t changed, however: her love of writing. Inspired by the delicacy of Souchon and Oxmo Puccino, lyrics are her gateway to composition. She sings poetic and universal stories that are aligned with her own experiences.

In her latest track, “Sinon rien,” released last Friday, she reveals her ambitions and struggles with her dream of making a living from music. Her carefully crafted projects, such as Nuits bleues and SOMA, explore various themes such as love and the search for happiness with gentleness and melancholy.
