Marie Madeleine | A new single and an exclusive playlist!

Thanks to the organic buzz created on TikTok around their 2011 track ‘Swimming Pool’ – which has racked up over 64,000,000 plays on Spotify – Double Platinum–selling band Marie Madeleine have spent the last two years touring the roads of France, Europe and America to serve and commune with their fans.

Over the top of a deep, funereal bass groove carried by synths as acidic as they are melancholic, the voices of the disco-wave duo rise more ardent and scandalous than ever. Formed by Diana Kill (vocals, keyboard) and Alfred Moon (vocals, keyboard, drum machine and sequences), the band tell stories infused with darkness and sensuality; passion according to Marie Madeleine is made up of songs that go wrong, dissidence and ecstasy, where the feminine always wins.

Having chosen the independent route, the pair produce their tracks on their very own label, Supermusique, and after releasing the singles ‘The End’ and ‘No Love’ in 2022, the duo officially unveiled their latest song – entitled ‘Again’ – just last Friday, fresh off the back of playing it for the first time at their recent gig at SXSW in Austin, Texas. In fact, 2024 has seen them head back over the Atlantic to spread their message of love across a 14-date US tour ahead of their return to France and to the studio, where new music is in the pipelines.
