Silvàn Areg | J’sais pas trop

Sylvain Hagopian, also known as Silvàn Areg or Caz B, is a French author, composer, and performer born in Clermont-Ferrand in 1979. He first gained recognition as a rapper under the pseudonym Casus Belli in the 2000s. In parallel, he ventured into the realm of variety. A jack-of-all-trades, he also became a physical education teacher in Lyon and decided to delve into songwriting for other artists. Silvàn Areg notably penned the lyrics for “Un homme debout” performed by Claudio Capéo. The song “J’sais pas trop” is taken from his second album titled PDMJTM (Pardon, Désolé, Merci, Je t’aime), which draws inspiration from the Hawaiian philosophy of life, “Ho’oponopono”, as Sylvàn Areg is an eternal optimist.
