The highly anticipated Music Moves Europe Awards have just revealed the fifteen artists nominated for their 2026 edition! As a reminder, the Music Moves Europe Awards (MME Awards) are the European Union’s awards celebrating emerging artists who represent the European sound of today and tomorrow. The program is designed to accelerate the international careers of emerging European artists. Over the past twenty years, several artists produced in France have won an MME Award, including: Yamê in 2025, Zaho de Sagazan in 2024, Christine and the Queens (now renamed Rahim Redcar) in 2015, and Stromae in 2011.
Announced at the SoAlive Music Conference (Sofia / Bulgaria) on October 16, the fifteen nominees for the MME Awards 2026 are: Ditter (FR), Anna Lille (Norway), Camille Yembé (Belgium), Carpetman (Ukraine), Della (Cyprus), Fine (Denmark), Florence Road (Ireland), Glazyhaze (Italy), Lia Kali (Spain), Lunikk (Bulgaria), Melina (Greece), Might Delete Later (Latvia), Ray Lozano (Germany), Sarah Julia (Netherlands) and Sofie Royer (Austria).
Five winners will be selected by an international jury, and one artist will be chosen for the Grand Jury Prize. Music fans across Europe can now vote for the winner of the MME Public Choice Award 2026 in the Audience Choice Award category on the MME Awards website: https://mmeawards.eu/en/.
All winners will be announced at the MME Awards ceremony on January 16, 2026, during the Eurosonic Norderslag (ESNS) Festival in Groningen, the Netherlands, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2026. Each winner will receive a €10,000 prize. The Grand Jury Prize winner will receive an additional €5,000 eco-touring prize, and the winner of the MME Public Choice Award 2026 will receive €5,000.
This year’s fifteen nominees will also be invited to perform at the ESNS festival and participate in the MME education program, focusing on music industry best practices, organized by ESNS and the MME Awards partners: Liveurope, Yourope, Live DMA, IMPALA, Digital Music Europe, ICMP-CIEM, International Music Managers Forum (IMMF), and European Music Exporters Exchange (EMEE).

Behind the name Ditter, hides a Parisian trio, but above all, a music that strikes as much the bodies as the hearts. A lively, organic universe, full of anthems to sing together, a smile on your lips and hips moving. A love for pop, a hint of punk associated with a touch of cynicism and always a lot of humor, the naughty kids from the back of the class are now in front of you to burn the stage, their great field of expression, to share their rebellion and live together. Between a session at the Fair, a Francos workshop and a Chorus prize, the three members of the group (Rosa, Samuel and François) took the time to concoct a second EP even more provocative: “Cringe Is The New Sexy”, available since October 29th.
To tide you over until the results are announced, Ditter has put together an exclusive playlist for What the France featuring some of their “made in France” favorites. The program includes tracks performed by: Joseph!ne, Ojos, The Do, Nina Versyp, Vera Daisies, Max Baby, Hausmane & La Chica, Marta, Kriill, Malvina, Carmen Sea, Tetha, Cinna Peyghamy, UTO, Crenoka, Treaks, Crenoka, Maddy Street, Last Train, Stuck In The Sound, Meule, Théa, Miki, November Ultra, Denys Roses, Clara Ysé, Liv Oddman, A.A SARL, Uzi Freyja, Lila Sober, The Pyschotic Monks, Ëda Diaz, Naël Kaced, Frieda, Yoa, Astral Bakers, Bellboy, Revolver, Vanessee vulcane, Claire Days and Theodora.
