In this new episode of our Live Shot series, meet White Corbeau. What the France caught up with him during his performance at the BISE Festival.

A Belgian artist accompanied on stage by his piano, he captivated the audience with raw, powerful emotion. Inspired by legendary artists such as Nina Simone, he is shaping his own musical identity while breaking free from his classical training. His music explores his roots, his personal journey, and themes of rebirth.

The title of his latest EP, Forêt (Forest), reflects these ideas—serving as a bridge to deepen his connection with his audience, especially through live performance. For him, concerts are all about sharing. Having started out singing in the streets, he now performs on stage and is gaining recognition, notably at the Golden Afro Artistic Awards and as a laureate of the French VIP program (SACEM).

He blends different art forms to preserve his creative freedom. Passionate about drawing, he enriches his visual universe through his own artwork—designing his covers and exploring themes of Afro-descendance in his animated project Indépendance Tcha Tcha on social media.
