Stromae | Santé

With ‘Santé’, Stromae gives a vibrant toast to the working people who do the jobs that are often uncelebrated but keep our world spinning, while everyone around is enjoying their time. On a catchy South American, cumbia-inspired rhythm, interwoven by cheerful electro influences, his tribute twirls from sincere emotion to caustic irony: master of his craft, the singer skillfully instills little skits that are both funny and thought provoking. The play on words and vocal ranges only amplify the accuracy of the situations described, and the call for a more inclusive party —joy and respect for everyone, as much in the club as in the workplace.

About

Stromae, whose real name is Paul Van Haver, is a Belgian artist born on March 12, 1985 in Etterbeek. It was in 2010, with his song 'Alors on danse', that he had his first success.
