Forbes has named Aya Nakamura in their 2019 “30 under 30″Europe list which spotlights the next generation of talents: ‘a collection of bold risk-takers bringing new ideas to Europe’.

‘Best known for her number one song Djadja which has more than 300 million views on Youtube, French-malian pop star Aya Nakamura has topped charts by mixing urban & Afrobeats sounds. Last year she became the most streamed French female artist in France – and in the world. Her eponymous album scored seven top tens on the French single charts, a first for a female artist.’
