Christine and the Queens | New remixes of ‘La Vita Nuova’
This month Christine and the Queens has released three remixes of her track ‘La Vita Nuova ft. Caroline Polachek’ by Logic1000, A. G. Cook and Populous.
Three very different artists
Born in Sydney, Logic1000 alias Samantha Poulter’s signature sound is based around dance rhythms, digital synths and ghostly textures. Like Christine and the Queens she’s signed to Because Music and has previously remixed Låpsley and Don Toliver.
A. G. Cook is the founder of the PC Music label and a proponent of the Nightcore style which twisted 90s dance pop into bold new shapes.
Populous is an Italian queer activist, beat maker and DJ, whose latest album W is an ode to various visions of liberated womanhood, with pop influences.
The original song is taken from Christine and the Queens’ La Vita Nuova EP, released in May to widespread critical acclaim
