Hugo Barriol | Debut album ‘Yellow’
Having started as a busker in Australia, then later in the Paris Metro, Hugo Barriol released his first EP, On The Road, in 2017. The five-track project then revealed a unique world, carried by Hugo’s warm voice, his acoustic guitar and sensitive lyrics.
Now his debut album Yellow, which he recently recorded in London with the help of producer Ian Grimble (Daughters, Mumford & Sons, Bear’s Den…), is out via Naïve/Believe.
After winning over the audience at the MaMa Festival and Solidays in France last year, Barriol performed his first ever Paris headline show at La Maroquinerie in January 2019. In addition, he will be touring in support of the release, starting in Amsterdam and stopping off in Berlin on 3rd March. See below for the full list of dates.
