About
Author, composer, performer, musician, and French actress, Izïa was born in Paris in 1990. As the daughter of singer Jacques Higelin, she was immersed in music from childhood. She wrote her first songs at the age of 13. In 2010, she won two Victoires de la Musique awards in the categories of pop/rock album and revelation stage of the year. Izïa is a free and hypersensitive woman, a musical "explorer" who is a ball of energy on stage. She suffered from not being able to perform on stage for two years due to Covid, which she reflects in her song "Mon cœur." Her fifth album, "La vitesse," was produced in five weeks and was released in June 2022.
