
Le Groupe Obscur | Selesȼa
Having released the track ‘Piȼedelula’ towards the end of last year, Rennes-based Le Groupe Obscur are now back with their debut EP Selesȼa – meaning ‘Salutations’ in the language they invented themselves, ‘l’obscurien’. The result is a cosmic and celestial sound, which immediately evokes the gothic rock of Scottish cult act Cocteau Twins. The six musicians have managed to craft their own world, with elegiac melodies and floaty arrangements which give them their own unique appeal.
